Captain Hook (To be Continued…) – Gusti Yogiswara

The story behind it is nothing extraordinary, I was just playing around in PhotoShop while looking through a tutorial on the net. The captain on the image was taken on the comedy musical act called “Peter Pan” it was a famous act here in Belgium few months ago. The comedy musical itself was really not interesting to me, maybe because I was sitting in a bad seat so I couldn’t see all of the action. I could follow the story but I was just busy taking photos and amazed by the plays setting, effects, and dances.  At the end of the act, everyone was cheering for the actors, since Captain Hook was still looking “angry” being beaten by Peter Pan and chased by crocodile but not dead at all, the idea comes up, where Captain Hook go? So I create this image where his boat is blown up and he’s inside the cave somewhere unknown.

You could do a lot of things in PS, ideas and creativity are what is most important. I personally sometimes don’t know how to do it but never stop learning, some artist and generous people shares their tutorial on the net, takes a lot of patience to read them all and to try it, never give up.
