English Bulldog Smile (My Family) - Santa Cruz, California – David Bouchat
It is tough not to take a great photo of an English Bulldog. They always seem to find a way to make you smile. However David doesn’t just rely on his cute puppy to steal the show for this image. He captures three of the most important things in his life in some great California light. Great job Dave! Please read his story below and then visit his beautiful portfolio http://500px.com/davidbouchat for more bulldog, cars, and incredible images.

I had just gotten my 5D Mark II as a birthday gift from my wife, we decided to go on a drive with our 1960 Chevrolet Bel Air to Santa Cruz. We drove through the mountains on our way back to San Francisco on the Highway US1. I was taking photos all day while driving to get some motion effect. As we were cruising home the sunset colors were looking incredible, so I decided to jump in the back and start taking photos of my lady driving and our smiling English Bulldog, Dexter!

Adorable!
That face is priceless and gorgeous!
A handsome pup. Vintage car driving, it’s always the best.
A nostalgic feel in the vintage car.
This is a very nice comfortable-looking picture. I also notice no safety belt. They hadn’t even been thought of in 1960!
In my family, my wife would be driving too, my dog would be in the front taking my place, and I would be forgotten in the back.
Great picture!
Now, that’s happiness!
Glad to see someone is comfy!
