“Kung Fu Frog” – Batam Island, Indonesia – Shikhei Goh – Featured Photographer
Need a good laugh today. Here you go. Look out Kung Fu Panda, this little tree frog is ready for battle! Shikhei has only been photographing with a DSLR camera for a short time but already has an impressive body of work. The reason I chose to have the frog as the object was partly because of its contrast in colors. It has green, purple, and red which I found to be amusing. I used a thread for the frog to hold on so I could direct it to pose the way I wanted it. However, I assure you there was no torture or hanging whatsoever. I love animals and I will not torture them for the sake of macro photography.
