Outer Galaxy (Postcards from the Moon) – From the Mind of George – George Christakis

This image made me think of a postcard from the moon. If Richard Branson gets his space ship together this could be sold in the moon gift shop. “Outer Galaxy” is an image based on a photo manipulation method, montage work in Photoshop. It was  created using several different photographs, in different time, place, hour. I used some stock parts for the Crater, a star shot, and clouds shots. The Galaxy was created with software by twisting all the cloud photographs, and I gave it perspective to look more realistic. The main project was to give an extra-terrestrial feeling to the viewer. I like the result and plan on making more in the future.
